For another option, Vallarta Dream Weddings can offer you a completely legal religious ceremony – that's right – without the hassle of all of the paperwork, blood work and prenuptial video briefing required for the Mexican Civil Ceremony.

This choice of ceremony is available for gay couples wishing to get married as long as they are presenting a marriage certificate from a State that legally recognizes gay marriages.

We work with the only Minister in Puerto Vallarta that is licensed to do this. The ceremony can be done either in English or Spanish – depending upon the couples' preference.

Couple must meet with minister at least two days prior to ceremony and provide copies of the following documents:

1. driver's license and passport;
2. copy of divorce decree if applicable

Couple would apply for their marriage license as if they were getting married in the U.S. – adhere to all rules and regulations accordingly and inform the office that they are getting married locally.
